Great opportunity to work as a Butcher / Slaughter for a leading meat processing factory.

Brightwork is recruiting for a Butcher / Slaughter to work in Turriff, Aberdeenshire.

The rate of pay is from £12.43 per hour up to £19.54 per hour.

You will work full time, the start time is 7am until the finish, usually between 3.30pm and 5pm.

Your Time at Work

As a Butcher / Slaughter your duties include:

- Working in an Abattoir/Boning environment in the involvement of the slaughter of cattle and sheep
- Cutting, trimming and preparation in the meat production process
- Maintain Health & Safety, Hygiene and Food quality standards
- Working as a team to ensure the production runs quickly and efficiently
- Help during changes on the line learning new skills as required
- Work on different lines and areas where required
- Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Butcher / Slaughter will be happy with the manual handling of animals, raw meat and working in a cold environment.

Experience in a fast-paced meat manufacturing environment and working in an Abattoir environment is required.
