Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Port Glasgow
Overview:
With a dedicated R&D building, our client are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to become part of a team that values creativity, curiosity, and the ability to take initiative.
Whereas some companies give you set responsibilities to stick to with little change, here you will be part of a team of "idea generators" where every day is different, and given opportunities to contribute across the full product lifecycle from initial designs to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and integrate embedded software into firmware for full system applications.
- Test and debug complex embedded systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Continuously monitor and improve system efficiency and stability post-development.
- Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to learn and contribute across the product's lifecycle.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Some experience in an embedded software or electronics-focused role.
- Proficient in programming with C or C++, with a background in embedded systems development.
- Experience in running and testing MATLAB/Simulink code.
