Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading player within the drinks industry for a Key Customer Adviser to join their team in East Ayrshire on a full time, permanent basis. 

This is a full time Mon - Fri position working 37.5 hours per week. 

On a day-to-day basis, Customer Advisers act as the central point of contact for the group and handle a huge variety of customer requests (internal and external) at any given time. They provide assistance to customers, sales agents, freight forwarders and internal colleagues across multiple departments with the aim of providing excellent service to all stakeholders.


Duties will include:

  • Review & processing of customer orders while ensuring compliance with internal credit control policies.
  • Production of all customer paperwork required to obtain customs clearance for export orders.
  • Liasing with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer orders are sent in a timely manner, advising of any delays. throughout process. 
  • Monitoring a shared mailbox and resolving customer queries to their satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Production of all customer paperwork required to obtain new product line listings.
  • Co-ordination of the sample product process including managing couriers and tracking deliveries across the world on behalf of customers.
  • Production of relevant reporting for customer service weekly updates
  • General office admin and reception duties including answering the telephone and greeting visitors to the site.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A strong communicator, comfortable both verbally and written
  • Experience in customer service or logistics environment is desirable but not essential 
  • Comfortable working with various stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, comfortable with utilising these and picking up internal systems
  • A Confident user of various channels such as; Skype/Teams, email and phone
  • A self starter who is keen to further their experience and progress within the position
