Our client is currently recruiting a boots on the ground HSE Manager who will play a pivotal role in promoting health, safety and environmental responsibility for the site, whilst working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, policies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare necessary documentation for audits and inspections.

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and areas of improvement.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions to address identified issues.

Monitor the effectiveness of implemented risk management measures and make adjustments as needed.

Promote a safety culture through awareness campaigns, workshops, and continuous education.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.

 

Qualifications/Technical Skills

NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 - ESSENTIAL 

 

Relevant certifications IOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.

Experience with risk assessment methodologies and safety management systems.

Proficient in using HSE management software and tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Please note this is a site-based role 5 days per week. Hours 7am-4pm/8am - 5pm
