Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Transport Planner. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s office in the Dumfries area.
A critical role for the business, you will be tasked planning the collection and delivery of goods across the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- Communication with drivers and customers
- Planning drivers and vehicles
- Solving any logistical issues
- Other duties deemed relevant to role
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working within a Transport Planning position for a haulage company
- Knowledge of working time directive and driver regulations.
- Customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
