Brightwork has an exciting position, hiring a Process Operative at our well-known client's meat processing site, based in Turriff.

If you have ever been interested in a position within an engineering team, looking to either learn on the job, or even enhance skills you already have, this could be the position for you.
The role requires no experience as for the right candidate, full training will be provided.

This full-time role offers day and night shifts working Monday to Friday.

The hours of work include:
Day shift: (Monday - Friday) 6am - 3:30pm
Night shift: (Monday - Friday) 10pm - 6am

The rate of pay for day shift is £11.60 per hour - increasing to £12.00 per hour after 26 weeks.
The rate of pay for night shift is £14.10 per hour - increasing to £14.50 per hour after 26 weeks.

Your Time at Work

As a Process Operative, your role will include:

- Running and maintaining the effluent plant process in line with Anglian water regulations
- Taking accountability for ensuring site effluent discharge consents are at the correct levels
- Ensuring good water clarity
- Carrying out soil processing tasks
- Completing chemical checks
- Checking equipment is processing correctly
- Liaising with the engineering team on plant levels
- Completing daily clean down
- Carrying out and assisting with basic maintenance tasks
