Brightwork are currently recruiting for an immediately available Lab Technician/Analyst to join our prestigious drinks production client at one of their sites in Clackmannanshire to work on a full-time, temporary basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver analytical measurement and insight to improve production processes and enable new adventures
- Carrying out lab working using techniques such as GC, HPLC, HPLC-MS and GC-MS
- Support in the development of new analytical methods
- Interpreting results to assist the team in delivery of flavour and process insights to support production operation.
Successful candidate:
- Working experience within a similar role ideally within the food or drink industry
- Ideally the candidate will have a degree within a scientific function
- Practical knowledge of operation and maintenance of analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC, HPLC-MS and GC-MS
- Knowledge of Brewing/Distilling would be advantageous
