Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Transport Manager. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s site in Glenrothes.
A critical role for the business, you will be tasked with managing the site’s transport team, ensuring compliance and health and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to all required areas of the company operator’s licence requirements
- Maximise financial performance
- Assist with financial forecasting
- Work towards transport KPIs
- Management of drivers and transport office staff
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Training and continuous development of staff
- Other duties deemed appropriate
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial and financial understanding
- Leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate
- Previous experience within a transport management role
- Full UK drivers license
