Brightwork are recruiting for Porters to join our client, a well-respected organisation at their premises in Airdrie.
This is an ongoing temporary position with full time hours available across mornings, afternoons and evenings across Mon-Sun.
Working within their busy team, the successful candidates will:
- Assist staff with the transfer and movement of patients using the appropriate equipment and in line with H&S guidelines
- Patrol the wider site, ensuring unauthorised vehicles are stickered accordingly
- Handle cadavers promptly with care and respect
- Collect and deliver meals and equipment throughout the site
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing mail
- General duties as required
The successful candidates will:
- Be able to commit to an ongoing temporary position
- Understand that this is a physically demanding role and you will be on your feet a lot of the day
- Experience within a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be
provided
Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates will be required to hold current membership to the PVG scheme for both Adults and Children at your own cost.
