Brightwork are recruiting for Laundry Assistants to join our client, a well-respected organisation at their premises in Wishaw.
This is an ongoing temporary position with shifts available across Dayshift (0700-1515), Backshift (1515-2100) and Nightshift (Sundays Only 2245-0700).
Working within their busy team, the successful candidates will:
- Sorting high volumes of used linens
- Operate the industrial ironing and folding equipment
- Packing and folding clean items
- General housekeeping of laundry premises and equipment
- Loading and unloading of cages ahead of deliveries
- General duties as required
The successful candidates will:
- Be able to commit to an ongoing temporary position
- Understand that this is a physically demanding role with requirements to stand, lift and bend throughout the day
- Experience within a laundry would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided
