Fantastic Opportunity to work in our clients Distillery based in the picturesque conservation village of Luss.
Luss is a village in Argyll and Bute, on the west bank of Loch Lomond. The village is within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Ben Lomond, the most southerly Munro, dominates the view north over the loch, and the Luss Hills rise to the west of the village.
Our client is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the development of a state -of-the-art distillery and visitor centre in Luss Dumbartonshire. It will be home to Ben Lomond Gin and the Loch Lomond Whisky Experience, offering guided tours, discovery centre with tastings, premium food and drink, and a flagship retail space.
As a lead guide you will play a significant role in the day to day running of this new brand home. With a hands-on approach, you will deliver guided tours with passion and enthusiasm, ensuring that all guests are engaged and enjoying their visit to the site. In this role you will also be responsible for coaching fellow guides to this highest standard in delivering hospitality and brand presentation throughout the visitor journey. Overseeing the smooth running of the visitor experience, including retail, bookings, cleanliness and keyholding and occasional opening/closing responsibilities,

We are looking for candidates who have experience in the following settings:
Tour Guide, hospitality, retail, or tourism
Excellent public speaking and storytelling skills
Great customer service and attention to detail
Confident, approachable, adaptable, and calm under pressure
Flexible working across weekends, holidays, and events. Working hours between 9am - 6pm with the exception of events where you may be required to work later.
Full training will be provided on our gin-making process, tastings, and brand storytelling - with opportunities to gain experience within a leading Scottish spirits business.
