The role – Client Site Co-ordinator

The Site Co-ordinator is responsible for effectively managing all day-to-day interaction and communication with the client’s production staff and company traffic personnel to ensure despatches are carried efficiently and to meet site scheduling and delivery requirements.

Based at the client site in Dumbarton, your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring all despatches meet company and client requirements
  • Planning and execution of despatch operations
  • Liaising with client production staff on a continual basis to ensure despatches are undertaken to meet all targets in terms of delivery, cost and quality of service provision
  • Liaising with drivers and other traffic departments
  • Undertaking all associated administrative and document management requirements

Possessing first class client facing skills, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience managing all elements of a traffic / warehousing operation, ideally within a dynamic manufacturing, production, process or similar environment – direct experience as a site-based Co-ordinator would be a distinct advantage. You will have an in-depth working knowledge of a range of computer packages including Excel, Outlook and Word, previous experience working with Transport systems such as Roadrunner etc is highly desirable.

The hours of work are 06:00am – 15:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 06.00am – 13.00pm Friday, with the possibility of rotating shifts in the future- flexibility will be required to meet the business demands, particularly at peak operational periods.
